Centred in the Yamaha SEQTRAKBL Music Production Studio is a powerful sequencer with dynamic and intuitive controls. Set out on a grid system, the SEQTRAKBL allows you to place and arrange all your sounds, making it ideal for recording. Each track features six pattern slots. You can switch between each pattern, which lets you add or subtract ideas and spice up your tracks.

Easy Synth and Sampler Section

For creating harmonies, soundscapes, and melodies, the Yamaha SEQTRAKBL comes equipped with three synthesisers and a sampler. One synth, the DX, brings the iconic Yamaha synth sound to life with its powerful four-operator FM engine. The other two use Yamaha's infamous AWM2 engine, delivering a dynamic, 128-note polyphonic sound experience for ultimate versatility. Finally, you can switch between mono, poly, and chord modes to hone down your synth sound.

So that you can create chord sequences and melodies, the Yamaha SEQTRAKBL Music Production Studio - Black has seven keys to work with. You can also select different scales and keys, making this the ultimate tune creator. While in keyboard mode, the step sequencer keys transform into a chromatic keyboard plus an arpeggiator, giving you plenty of options for on-the-go composing.

The built-in sampler lets you map sounds to each key, providing access to a vast library of samples. You can also capture and incorporate unique sounds from external sources using USB, re-sampling, or the built-in microphone. Seven-Track drum Section

To add beats to your music, the SEQTRAK features a dedicated drum section with seven tracks, including kick, snare, clap, two hi-hats, and two percussion sounds. You can load each drum track with one of 2,000 sounds from the extensive sound library in all instrument categories.

You can also import your own samples via the SEQTRAK app. Effortlessly arrange your sounds using the step sequencer, which offers 128 steps and clearly displays 16 steps on the device's interface.

Modulation and Effects 

Sculpt your sound with SEQTRAK's sound design section. In this section, you can edit parameters like pitch, volume, pan, attack, decay, and filter, depending on the sound that's been chosen. For further creativity, you can add reverb, delay, modulation, and other effects found in the effects section of the unit. Every effect is available, from gritty distortions to fat phasers.

SEQTRAK App for Advanced Controls and Editing

The available SEQTRAK app gives you further editing options, allowing access to all the parameters of the effects, drums, and synthesisers. SEQTRAK App V1.0.2 - Updates

The latest update to the Yamaha Seqtrak brings significant improvements in both performance and usability. Data syncing has been enhanced, resulting in faster load times and more efficient workflows thanks to the intelligent use of cached data. Mac users will enjoy a more intuitive experience with the new [ctrl + click] functionality for easy context menu access.

This update also addresses key stability issues, including fixes for Visualiser scene loading and consistent parameter values for Visualiser Reflection. UI display issues related to parameter-lock deletion have been resolved, and audio routing precision has been improved. Additionally, the saving of parameter-locked effects on Synth tracks has been fixed, ensuring complex sound designs remain intact.
