4-operator FM Sound Engine

Driving the sounds of this synth is a 4-operator FM sound engine, which comprises four sections, each with its own adjustable controls. This feature allows you to quickly create vintage-style voices, sounds, and tones without hesitation. Moreover, the 37-note keyboard allows 8 notes of polyphony, perfect for layers of new vintage soundscapes.

Its twelve algorithm combinations give you plenty of control to create the sound and tones you want. It features four buttons for each operation—Frequency, Level, Algorithms, and Feedback—giving you complete control of the sounds you create. The control panel also features an LED display, visually representing each of the four stages.

If you're stuck creating your own noises, the Yamaha Reface DX Synth arrives with 32 preset sounds all ready for you to play with. You can also edit them easily to align with your sonic vision.

The Edit button unlocks advanced editing capabilities for those looking to dive deeper, offering full control over your sounds. Onboard Effects and Phrase Looper
