Easy-to-use Controls

Featuring 37 keys with 8 notes of polyphony, the Yamaha Reface CS delivers easy playability and expressive control that you'd find in more high-end synths. The easy-to-use controls offer retro-inspired faders, allowing you to adjust the tempo, octave, volume, oscillation, filters, and more quickly.

The sound control section has LFO, EG, Filter, Effect and Portamento controls. At the same time, the pitch bend switch offers up that classic synth manipulation and adjustment. For those who want more, the Yamaha Reafce synth includes a monophonic mode for creating fat bass sounds or solo leads.

Five Adjustable Oscillators

For lovers of sound design, you get various effects, including Touch Wah, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and more. These effects add further dimensions and layers to your creations. The added Phrase Looper lets you create songs anywhere, adding loops and sounds. At the same time, the MIDI Looper allows you to record your track and play it back instantaneously.

Compact and Portable Design

Yamaha designed the Reface series to be lightweight and compact without sacrificing synth quality. The smaller size of the Yamaha Reface CP makes it the perfect addition to your pro or home studio, and it is easily transportable while on tour. It's durable and can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter for flexibility. The AUX input lets you jam along with your smartphone or tablet.
