Yamaha’s engineers have achieved this enhanced sound by employing advanced analysis and simulation techniques to determine the optimal bracing design—without relying on tradition or guesswork.
This research led to the development of the new scalloped bracing pattern, an innovative acoustic structure that preserves the durability of the top board while maximising the Yamaha FG’s sonic potential.
