Refined Tone Control

The AC15 features two channels: Normal and Top Boost. Each channel has its dedicated Volume control. The Top Boost channel provides interactive Treble and Bass tone controls, allowing you to sculpt a unique sound that suits your style. With this dynamic pairing, you can achieve everything from iconic "British chime" to rich, gritty overdrive.

In addition, the Master section includes a Tone Cut control, which shapes your tone at the power stage for greater precision, and a Master Volume control, letting you fine-tune the amp's gain staging so the valves break up at the sweet spot. Balancing these controls provides a full spectrum of tones, from sparkling clean to roaring, overdriven vintage power.

Built-In Effects for Further Expression

The VOX AC15 amp arrives with VOX's signature Classic Tremolo, allowing you to adjust speed and depth for the perfect vintage modulation effect.

A warm spring reverb adds spaciousness and fullness to your sound. The amp is compatible with the VOX VFS2 footswitch for hands-free versatility during performances, enabling you to toggle the Reverb and Tremolo effects on and off.

Powerful Valve Voice

Powered by 3 x 12AX7 preamp valves and a pair of EL84 power valves, the AC15C1 drives a single 12" Celestion G12M Greenback speaker, delivering 15 watts of rich, vintage-style tone.

The amp also includes flexible output options. A switchable 8/16-ohm 1/4" jack socket connects an external speaker cabinet and mutes the internal speaker when needed. A second extension speaker 1/4" jack socket lets you combine the internal speaker with an additional 16-ohm cabinet for a fuller, more robust sound.
